25 Most Revealing WWE Instagram Posts Of The Week (Sept 15th)
Wooden penises, cosplay and where Big Show really is...
This weekend sees the latest PPV on the WWE calendar and the one titled most like a mobile phone game as Clash Of Champions takes place in North Carolina. The week's focus has inevitably been on building to that, but it says something of the events billing that not only were this week's Raw and Smackdown ratings hardly inspiring, but there's also been a notable drop in interest in the show itself. Well, can't be helped.
Other news has focused on Luke Harper being stranded in no-man's-land even as Vince McMahon apparently "sees nothing in him," Big Cass unfortunately ending up in focus because of backstage violence at a WrestlePro show and Booker T and Renee Young have signed on to host the WWE FS1 show. And not CM Punk. Obviously.
There's also been a commentator shakeup and an NXT TakeOver shakeup with more of the yellow brand's premium PPV's coming thanks to the TV deal. Still, that didn't stop the TakeOver planned for Royal Rumble weekend in 2020 being cancelled.
On top of all that, John Cena was also officially confirmed for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, but don't expect to see him posting about it on Instagram properly, because his feed is still nonsense.
