3 Big Names To Watch From Every XFL Team

Head Coach: Bob Stoops

Stoops is easily the most famous coach in the XFL, and was the first coach to be signed. After starting four years at the University of Iowa, he would start his coaching career upon graduation, staying with Iowa as an assistant from 1983-87. After stops at Kent State, Kansas State, and Florida, Stoops began his long tenure as head coach of the University of Oklahoma in 1999. In a decorated 18 year career, he won a national title, two-time Walter Camp Coach of the Year, along with ten "Big 12" titles and wins in the Rose, Orange, Fiesta, and Sugar bowls.

Quarterback: Landry Jones

Jones played under Bob Stoops in Oklahoma from '08-'12. He led the team to four bowl appearances, winning three of them. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Pittsburg Steelers. He spent his time as Ben Roethlisberger's backup until 2017. They released him after drafting Mason Rudolph. He was briefly a member of the Jaguars and Raiders. Like his coach, Jones was the first player signed to the XFL. Because of this, he was blocked from returning to the Steelers when Roethlisberger was injured last season.

Linebacker: Hau'oli Kikaha

The Hawaiian linebacker was a second round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. As a rookie for the New Orleans Saints, Kikaha managed four sacks and four forced fumbles while battling injuries. Injuries have been a big problem for him with two ACL tears in college, another ACL tear in 2016, and an ankle injury forced him to sit the end of the 2017 season. The Saints let him go in 2018. Here's hoping he can stay healthy in the XFL.

**Also look for RB Cameron Artis-Payne (Panthers) and RB Lance Dunbar (Cowboys).
