3 RETRIBUTION Members Get New Ring Names On WWE Raw
Say hello to Mace, Slapjack, and, err... T-Bar.
Three of RETRIBUTION's core members were given new ring names on last night's WWE Raw, with Dio Maddin, Donovan Dijakovic, and Shane Thorne rechristened Mace, T-Bar, and Slapjack respectively.
The new monickers were specifically mentioned on the show. Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez featured alongside their stablemates on a night that saw WWE confirm the quintet had been handed Raw contracts, though they weren't given new aliases.
Raw opened with RETRIBUTION cutting a typical promo on destroying WWE and rebuilding it in their image, criticising other wrestlers for chasing money, before they fought with The Hurt Business.
Involved in several backstage attacks throughout the night, RETRIBUTION wrestled The Hurt Business to a disqualification in the main event, with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre leading the Raw roster out to attack RETRIBUTION, before Randy Orton struck him down.
Dijavkoic, Yim, Martinez, Thorne and Maddin were all identified as RETRIBUTION members in a POST Wrestling report last week, with their faces clearly visible beneath their balaclavas. The stable have now been handed wacky new masks that barely look fit for purpose, with Yim's visibly slipping from her face as she tried to talk on Raw.
