With Rebellion now just two weeks away, this week's Impact continued planting the necessary seeds in order to provide a quality pay-per-view event come 28 April.

The evening's main event featured Johnny Impact and Taya Valkyrie facing Brian Cage and Jordynne Grace, a match that ended with referee Johnny Bravo siding with the champion duo. There's literally no point in having a random referee form an alliance with two of the biggest stars in the promotion right now. What benefit will it have going forward? He won't exactly be allowed to referee the upcoming World Championship at Rebellion with his true colours now revealed.

Elsewhere on the show, Gail Kim and Tessa Blanchard's rivalry took a bit of a step back with a slightly boring segment this week, Su Yung choked out Rosemary with some sort of blood-covered glove, and Moose once again faced one of The Rascalz in the form of Zachary Wentz. It wasn't all bad though, as the excellent rivalry continued between The Lucha Bros and The LAX with a quick brawl backstage and The North made their tag team debut.

For the last few pay-per-view events, Impact have far exceeded expectations. Rebellion seems to be the exact same case, especially with the card they're building towards. Let's get to it...
