3. T-Bone's On The Hunt

Eddie Dennis Primate T-Bone

With Wild Boar being dismissed from Eddie Dennis’ control, it was T-Bone’s turn to team with Primate this week, as the duo dismantled Josh Morrell and Danny Jones. It wasn’t quite a pseudo squash as we were expecting, but it still worked in establishing Primate and T-Bone as a tandem.

It must be noted that while Morrell and Jones did get quite a few pieces of offence in, they came in quick flurries before The Hunt 2.0 retook hold of the match. They were treated entirely as enhancement talents who were on the cusp of becoming ‘main roster ready’, particularly in Josh’s case as he was flying about the ring wherever possible.

Primate and T-Bone’s method of flinging their adversaries around the ring one minute and wailing away at them the next worked. The endless barrage of stiff forearms from both legitimately looked like they wanted to kill Morrell and Jones, which is exactly what you’d want to see from those two, so well done to them for nailing their characters. A powerslam/diving headbutt combination got them the win here. Again, another perfectly-executed hybrid to showcase their differing styles.
