A trio of pro wrestling legends made surprise appearances on last night's episode of AEW Dynamite.

First was Eric Bischoff, who featured as part of Chris Jericho and MJF's press conference segment. The former WCW chief asked Jericho why he'd made the stupid mistake of motivating The Young Bucks to come at him and MJF with a vengeance after attacking Papa Buck last week.

Then came deathmatch icon Atushi Onita, who is synonymous with all things exploding barbed wire, having wrestled Terry Funk in the stipulation's most famous outing back in 1993. Ahead of Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega's own deathmatch, Onita told the duo that the bout's rules are "spectacular" and perfect for them.

Finally, we got JJ Dillon. The former Four Horsemen manager accompanied FTR and Tully Blanchard to the ring for their match with Jurassic Express, even slipping Dax Harwood a shoe to strike Jungle Boy with. Dillon stuck around afterwards as well, as Shawn Spears unmasked himself after interfering as a planted cameraman, leaving to an overt Four Horsemen tease with Arn Anderson joining from the stage.

Dynamite also saw Paul Wight tease a "hall of fame calibre" debut at Revolution, so perhaps we'll see more legends in AEW before the week ends.
