The end may be nigh for The Undertaker's WWE career. The 'Demon of Death Valley' will make a much-anticipated return to the promotion at Survivor Series 2020 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut, but it could very well be the last time he steps between the ropes as a semi-active Superstar. WWE is, after all branding it 'Taker's 'Final Farewell'.

His apparent retirement has been common knowledge since he alluded to hanging up the hat in The Last Ride documentary, but it does seem like his impending return will make things official, ending what is arguably the greatest career in WWE history. A bold statement to make? Perhaps, but it's one with plenty of evidence to support it.

The controversy surrounding WWE's burial of DDP is well-documented but it's hard to deny that seeing the Brothers of Destruction become double Tag Team Champions wasn't one of the most feelgood moments of the Invasion storyline.

'Taker and Kane's tag team dominance was one of the most enjoyable aspects of the product in 2001, so it was only fitting that they featured heavily in this angle - and what better way to do that than winning both the WWE and WCW Tag Team Championships?
