Given how Chyna left the WWF on bad terms with Stephanie McMahon, then got into a drug fuelled porn career, the WWE are reluctant to ever acknowledge her contributions as one of the very top stars in the Attitude Era boom. It was Chyna and Triple H who were the company's original power couple, long before the McMahon / Helmsley narrative started. When the female bodbuilder was first paired with Hunter, it was a genuine WTF moment in the business, as the idea of a woman being as strong as the wrestler she was managing was a very controversial one. Shawn Michaels and Triple H had to plead with Vince McMahon to give Chyna the gig.
