9. The Constant References To Global Force Wrestling Hint At A Takeover
It seemed like the commentary team and even Jeff Jarrett himself couldn't resist name-dropping his Global Force Wrestling company at pretty much every opportunity they got. This caused many fans to become suspicious about a possible takeover or merger between the two companies, or perhaps even an invasion angle to try and spice things up. Nothing happened on the PPV itself, but if the shows take precedent, then expect one of these angles to be announced on a future Impact. If it truly was all foreshadowing, it wasn't subtle at all, and kinda hilarious, actually.
