Half-way through the match, Tyrus rips off the turnbuckle cover in order to give himself an advantage, and because Earl Hebner didn't see who removed the buckle cover, he decided not to punish anyone. Late in the match, however, when Hebner is again out of the loop, Lashley rams Tyrus' face into it countless times, causing him to bleed from the mouth, and disorientating him enough that Lashley can nail the spear for the easy win. Yes, Tyrus introduced this element into the match, but didn't it seem a little out of character for Lashley to cheat to win? Aren't squeaky-clean babyfaces like him supposed to be better than the dirty heels they're fighting?
