WWE’s first PLE of WrestleMania 41 weekend is in the books, and if NXT Stand & Deliver is any indication of how WrestleMania 41 will go, it could be a bumpy ride.

Stand & Deliver produced several fun and entertaining moments and matches, but it suffered from a lack of drama in some areas and entirely too much drama in others. The fans interjected themselves into one match that only highlighted legit criticisms that could be leveled at NXT for their match selection.

But the show closed strong with a triple threat that set the bar pretty high for the weekend, elevating one young star while reinforcing the dominance of the brand’s main champion. And then there was the sleeper hit of the PLE, a tag title match that saw Fraxiom finally dethroned by the unlikeliest of duos in an over-delivery of epic proportions.

Overall, diehard NXT fans should be pleased with this effort, while others will likely find fault in certain areas. But nothing on this show was outright bad or embarrassing, which should be considered a victory for the developmental brand.

Let’s get to it…
