And speaking of standards, how much have they slipped in order for WWE to continually put focus on Coffey Brothers associate Wolfgang?
In truth, the Coffeys themselves are only dragging their sense of purpose kicking and screaming over from the white hot Royal Albert Hall shows earlier this year, but whatever's motivated the company to feature them prominently in these early episodes hasn't rubbed off on their new big mate.
The appeal of Wolfgang to his bosses remains a mystery as a mere viewer - is a he a profiteer of these first tapings all being in the can before the company could receive feedback on what works well? He's receiving something resembling a push thanks to his relationship with his countrymen, but on what justification exactly? A wide berth has been tacitly requested by the organisation and fans that understandably want this project to work out well, but it should at least disguise itself as an elite brand of British wrestling even if it's not.
