4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (18 Nov - Results & Review)

1. Reed & Rollins Deliver

WWE Raw Seth Rollins Bronson Reed
WWE

The ascent of Bronson Reed has been nothing short of miraculous these past few months. He’s managed to turn a failed run into a monster push that has made him a legit spectacle feuding with one of Raw’s top babyfaces.

Seth Rollins and Reed locked horns in a rematch on Monday night that saw the Visionary trying to slay a monster with everything in his arsenal, only for Bronson to keep charging ahead like a horror movie villain. Rollins bounced Reed’s head off the steps repeatedly and Bronson shrugged it off. Seth powerbombed him out of the corner, hit a springboard moonsault and a springboard swanton, and Reed kicked out at one. Reed kicked out of a Pedigree and a frog splash as well.

To his credit, Reed has gotten marginally better at portraying the monster you can’t kill, and Rollins bounced off him like a proverbial ping-pong ball. Getting distracted by Solo Sikoa on the announcers’ desk was a bit contrived, but it was par for the course with a normal WWE distraction finish. At least it didn’t lead to a rollup finish, but Reed squashing Seth with a series of impactful moves.

Good match, decent finish, and another over-delivery from Big Bronson.
