For a good while now, the product Impact Wrestling had been producing week in and week out - in particular, their pay-per-view events - has for the most part been nothing short of excellent. The last few weeks of TV however, not so much. A reason for this is perhaps due to the position they've been using former ECW names in.

While the full-time return of Rob Van Dam to the company isn't exactly the worst thing to have happened, he doesn't need to be receiving the main event spot when there are guys more deserving than he is right now, and he certainly doesn't need to be followed to the top of the scene by the other guys like Tommy Dreamer, and now, Sabu.

Elsewhere, we saw an incredible four way match showcasing the X Division, two championship matches, Rosemary setting her sights on Taya Valkyrie's Knockouts Championship, an unnecessarily long match between Sami Callihan and Fallah Bahh, and Glenn Gilbertti continuing his crusade against the Knockouts division for whatever reason, among a few other segments.

Hopefully, these ECW lads aren't around for much longer. As long as they're here, don't expect to see anyone else in the main event scene. For now, let's get to it...
