How do you follow up a surprisingly strong Hell in a Cell 2022? With a middling episode of WWE Raw, of course!

If you were expecting a compelling three hours of TV, you turned on the wrong station. Raw did deliver some legit shocks, and a genuinely great jerk heel moment, but overall, it was more of the same content churn, as we got a four-way main event to determine Bianca Belair’s next challenger. It saw the recently vanquished Omos run roughshod over three superstars in rapid fashion. And it saw The Judgment Day undergo a pretty significant shift in membership.

You can say a lot about Raw these days, but what you can’t say about Monday’s show is that it was uneventful. There was a lot happening on Raw, and some things actually started shaping up right away for the next PLE.

But this being WWE, we still were treated to the whims of Vince McMahon, including wrestlers being decimated who should be bigger stars, and one of the company’s biggest stars hunting the 24/7 Championship. Yeah, some things to like about Raw, but others that reminded you exactly what you were watching – in case you got caught up in Sunday’s closing and Monday’s opening.

Let’s get to it…
