1. Another Week With A Strong Main Event Match
The best thing about Smackdown week after week is the quality of the main event matches is usually pretty high. This week was no exception as Cesaro and Neville teamed up to face Rollins and Owens. Six months ago if you would have told me that Cesaro and Neville were main eventing a TV show as a team I wouldn't have believed it, but here they are. The crowd loves them too. Of course they do benefit from a lot of top names not working Smackdown tapings too. That doesn't take away from how far they've come in the last few months to get there. While I didn't like Cesaro losing, which I previously mentioned, the match was a great look into what WWE's future is made of because all four guys are exceptional in-ring performers that have only been in WWE for a few years or less. The story of the match was about the heels isolating Neville, Cesaro getting that hot tag and then the action really picked up. Sometimes on Smackdown the crowd reaction is edited in, but in Cesaro's case the crowd was absolutely on fire for him. When people talk about how bright WWE's future is, they do so because of matches like this where these younger, fresher stars get a chance to tell a story within the body of a wrestling match. That's what the business is all about and that's what this match showed.
