For years, people have talked up how Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would make for a great US President, and now there’s a cold, hard number to attach to the demand for President Rock.

From TMZ, a whopping 46% of adult Americans would support Johnson making a Presidential run in 2024. That poll ran for two days earlier this month, with a total of 30,138 votes cast.

In an additional poll, 29% of voters said they'd be behind a dual campaign of The Rock for President and Matthew McConaughey for Governor of Texas. Like Johnson, McConaughey has similarly been talked about as entering the world of politics.

While others have championed for Dwayne Johnson to one day become the People’s President, Johnson himself has openly admitted several times how he’s thought about putting the White House in his sights – stating how if that’s what the people want, that’s something he’s certainly willing to consider.

If the eight-time WWE Champion did indeed get involved in politics, he wouldn’t be the first celebrity to do so. In fact, he wouldn’t even be the first pro wrestler to do so – with Jesse Ventura serving as Governor of Minnesota between 1999 and 2003.
