5 Awesome WWE Network Shows And 5 That Are Terrible
3. Awesome - WWE 24
One of the hallmarks of the Reality Era is the WWE's willingness to pull back the curtain on the behind the scenes aspects of the promotion. From ESPN specials, to Network exclusives featuring NXT, to YouTube videos, WWE has really sold out kayfabe and is allowing us never before imagined access to the inner workings of the pro wrestling titan. The program that takes the cake in the true "reality" category, however, is WWE 24.
The story of Daniel Bryan's farewell, the rehab process of 'The Architect' Seth Rollins, and even The Undertaker's shocking WrestleMania XXX aftermath, WWE 24 gives us the thing we want the most out of our wrestling: realism. There is a theme here among the shows that are considered "awesome": they all have real, organic situations in lieu of scripted garbage from the mind of a 70 year old.
More WWE 24 is definitely a positive for the Network. This program humanizes the talent and makes them more relatable to us as we are able to see them in reality and not the WWE's universe.
