5 Best Case Scenario WWE Money In The Bank 2021 Winners (And 5 Worst)

2. Worst - T-Bar

Not to target T-Bar specifically, but there's something particularly lame about the former RETRIBUTION member that makes the prospect of him or several other under-utilised midcarders winning this match the stuff of nightmares.

WWE needs to completely rethink how to book its lower and midcard wrestlers when crowds return, having seemingly forgot even the basic tenets of storytelling beyond fighting for largely meaningless belts.

T-Bar, Mustafa Ali, Mace and Slapjack are now floating around like disused detritus, but things aren't much better for the likes of Ricochet, Drew Gulak or The Viking Raiders. Meanwhile, it's easier to list the women in programmes than those without based on how few actually get booked, and WWE should (mostly) resist the urge to go with an out-of-the-blue winner after losing faith in Otis last year.

Nobody is saying the named performers can't wrestle to an extraordinarily high standard, with the exception of WWE themselves. They allow their stars to be perceived as milquetoast losers in a time where the roster has never boasted a broader set of skills.

Money In The Bank can change a career and transform a trajectory, but it shouldn't be mistaken for a magic wand.
