5 Best Potential Opponents For Kenny Omega At AEW All Out 2021

Who should challenge the Best Bout Machine next?

Kenny Omega Kazuchika Okada
AEW/NJPW

All Elite Wrestling is the place to be right now.

Tony Khan has not just opened the "Forbidden Door" between wrestling promotions, he has obliterated the entire first floor. Talent is now swapping between promotions on the regular, with New Japan Pro Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling both sharing wrestlers.

This may play a key part in AEW's largest story at present. Following the 28 July edition of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page is no longer in contention for the AEW World Championship following his defeat at the hands of The Elite.

Via the Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer has reported that Page will not be in the main event of All Out against Kenny Omega, meaning that a new challenger needs to be lined up for The Cleaner. This is a mouth-watering opportunity for AEW. They not only have their own viable challengers, but they also have a wealth of talent who would love to come across and work in the promotion.

There are a lot of rumours floating around right now about people who may be involved with the promotion, and that just makes the prospect of Kenny's challenger even more intriguing.

5. Kazuchika Okada

It would be a wrestling fans' dream to see Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega square off in All Elite Wrestling. These two performers put on arguably the best wrestling match of all time at Wrestle Kingdom 11, and then went on to top that again and again in their series.

Omega is on the top of his game. He is front and centre of AEW and has all the right to claim he is the best in the world. Having Okada walk into the promotion as the heroic invader would be a nice mix up to the formula. The New Japan sensation tries to save western wrestling from the maniacal champion could make for a different type of story.

It may be strange to see a New Japan rematch main event one of AEW's biggest shows of the year, but fans would lap it up. At the end of the day, these are two of the best wrestlers on the planet. Having them clash in AEW would only bring more eyes to the promotion, which is only a good thing.
