5 Biggest Winners & Losers Of The WWE Draft So Far
1. Winner: Dolph Ziggler
Zigglypuff is objectively the biggest winner of the WWE 2016 Draft so far. Dolph was drafted relatively low at number 24, lower than Baron Corbin, Chris Jericho and Big Show. The sad thing with Ziggler is that this wasn't even that much of a shock, as many had the Show-Off must lower in their predictive drafts. I mean, come on, the Ziggler ship has sailed, right?
Well, one month after the draft too place Dolph has sky-rocketed to the very top of the SmackDown roster and finds himself challenging Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Ziggler has been refreshed by the draft like no other.
Is it all just a mirage however? Is Ziggler finally getting the push many have wanted him to get for years, or is he merely there for something vaguely approaching name value? Ambrose vs. Ziggler has been a good match in the past, with the heightened stakes it will surely tick many boxes on Sunday.
What happens after the match will give us the best idea regarding Ziggler's place in the company. As of right now however, he is the major winner of the 2016 WWE Draft.
