5. Loser: Becky Lynch

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch returned to WWE television after taking an unexplained medical hiatus at No Mercy, but things didn’t go entirely to plan. She and Alexa Bliss are set to contest the title in Glasgow in two weeks’ time, and the fiery challenger interrupted Becky’s comeback injury to rip into her absence and question her backbone.

Bliss alleged that Lynch had back surgery to remove the yellow streak that had grown down her spine, because she knew her fairytale run as Women’s Champion would come to an end at Alexa’s hands. They brawled to the floor, and after emerging triumphant, Bliss spray-painted Becky’s back yellow, and walked away victorious.

It was another great segment from both women, but a considerable loss for Becky. The women’s scene has missed having her around, even for just a few weeks, but Alexa Bliss certainly hasn’t. They’ve successfully added a great deal of heat to their upcoming match, but the ball is firmly in Alexa’s court at the moment. As the champion, Becky has a lot of catching-up to do, and if she’s still “injured,” the gap may be insurmountable.
