There have been rumours in recent weeks that WWE are considering bringing back former Superstars to boost their current product. Just this past Monday night on Raw, Ric Flair, Tommy Dreamer and The Boogeyman returned to the audiences delight. Over the years, many Superstars have left WWE by their own accord. But for the most part, WWEs alumni were released from their contracts and afforded the generic future endeavors message. It can definitely be said that many of WWEs alumni were released prematurely and not given the chance that they might have deserved. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the release of WWEs former employees, many would argue that some should be given another chance. Keeping in mind the rumours, here are five Superstars that WWE could consider bringing back in the future to boost their product.
5. Carlito
Carlito left WWE in early 2010 due to some personal issues. Previously, hed been a regular in the companys mid-card and had feuded with the likes of John Cena, Ric Flair and The Big Show. A member of the famous Colon wrestling family, Carlito is a former United States and Intercontinental Champion, defeating John Cena and Shelton Benjamin respectively. With his brother Primo, The Colons became the first team to hold the Unified Tag Team Champions after defeating Hawkins & Ryder and The Miz and John Morrison. In addition to his in-ring success, Carlitos excellent mic work was rewarded with his own interview segment, Carlitos Cabana. Carlitos personal issues are now behind him and hes currently appearing on the independent wrestling scene. As a former champion in WWE, he could definitely boost WWEs current roster, returning to his position on the mid-card. The wrestling veteran is a proven success as either a heel or a face and surely WWE would welcome back a familiar face. With a newfound motivation and positive attitude, Carlito could definitely find further success in WWE.
