5 Intriguing Undercard Matches Added To WWE Payback 2016

Last night's WWE Raw brought confirmation on five new matches for WWE Payback on May 1st.

Natalya will get her rematch for the WWE Women's Championship after making champion Charlotte tap out last week - despite the match ending in a DQ - and again on this week's episode of Raw. To spice things up, Natalya will have her Hall of Fame uncle Bret Hart in her corner to counter the wily ways of Charlotte's legendary father, Ric Flair.

Two duos are left in the Tag Team Tournament to decide the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady will meet The Vaudevillains at Payback with the winners earning a title shot.

That title shot will come later in the night when champions The New Day defend against the victors.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will finally enjoy a platform to meet one-on-one, facing off against each other in an eagerly-awaited Payback clash. Although Zayn has been back since the Royal Rumble in January, this will be the first time the old rivals will face off since Owens' constant beat-downs on Zayn in NXT.

Further adding depth to the card, Dean Ambrose will take on Chris Jericho in what is sure to be an excellent contest. Considering the consistent quality performances of both competitors, fans of in-ring wrestling will be in for a treat.

The show will be headlined by AJ Styles challenging for Roman Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight Championship, confirmed last week along with Cesaro's attempt at claiming The Miz's Intercontinental Championship.
