5 Other Power Moves WWE Could Make To Thwart AEW

We've already mentioned the signing of indy talent by WWE, but what about the eventual singing of AEW talent themselves, to really put the boot in? Members of The Elite may be out of the question, due to executive status' within the company, but could Jericho or Moxley ever be tempted back by lucrative contracts? The same can be asked of up and coming AEW stars.

WWE has no shortage of funds after all, and even though the Khan's may be wealthier than McMahon overall, they have other endeavors to worry about as well. XFL revival aside, WWE is McMahon's lifeblood, and he'll always be willing to break the bank to keep the company atop the mountain. AEW stars are only human, and we all know Jericho loves a bit of the bubbly! He also still talks highly of Vince McMahon and left on fairly good terms. Chris can't be world champion forever, and could eventually tire of what ever position he ends up in once his reign at the top expires.

Just like how WWE stars become disgruntled with their positions, the same is bound to eventually happen with AEW employees. The grass is always greener on the other side, as they say, and top AEW talent being wooed by big pay cheques and subsequently turning up on WWE TV would be a major halt to AEW's momentum.
