5 Potential Ironwomen For WWE Royal Rumble 2021
1. Sonya Deville
What better way to announce Deville as a legit contender on her grand return? So far we have seen Sonya... walking around backstage. I would actually keep her out of the ring until the Rumble event, where she can come in early on and blast through a few big names.
Like I said way back in the intro, Royal Rumble matches are about so much more than the winner, and I'll say it right now: Sonya Deville should be the runner-up this year. She needs to come back with the same fire as when she left, and be treated like the star she is shaping up to become.
You would hope that WWE is bringing her back as a babyface, given the circumstances she endured last year. Getting so close to the end before her dream goes up in smoke thanks to Shayna Baszler ensures that Deville isn't given too much too soon, but gets her on the radar of the fans once again. The Rumble finish, in an ideal world, leads to a clash of new blood champions at Survivor Series: Deville vs. Baszler. Plenty of time to get both Superstars in a position to put on a slugfest.
