The co-main event of the night sees the rematch for the Featherweight championship. This will be as hotly contested as the previous fight between two strong fighters. Max Holloway was the champion when the two first met and he will be determined to bring the belt back to his camp when the fight is over.

The two appeared evenly matched on paper before the first fight and this was proven to be the case during their match. Alexander Volkanovski has managed to back up his nickname 'The Great' by maintaining an undefeated streak during his time with UFC where he has proven himself to be a resolute fighter that can edge out wins via decision. During his time with the UFC, he has managed to claim some impressive scalps in Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes and of course Holloway.

The previous match was a close one between the two with their ability to strike very similar. Volkanovski though, managed to edge the contest, outstriking the American on the night and maintaining a strong position for the first three rounds which gave Holloway few opportunities to turn the fight around. If Volkanovski wishes to retain the belt, he's going to need to prevent a powerful weapon in Holloway's arsenal: his leg kicks. If he fails to do so then it is likely that Holloway will be able to return to his position as Featherweight champion. However, Volkanovski has proven himself to be a disciplined fighter who can do what needs to be done to come away with victory.

Prediction: Volkanovski decision victory.
