5 Reasons WWE Survivor Series 2014 Is The Must See Event Of The Year

2. Will This Be The Night John Cena Passes Out In Rusev's Accolade?

Has it not occurred to any other fan in the WWE Universe that Rusev is undefeated, the United States Champion, and that he's made a ton of people (including Survivor Series match participants Big Show and Mark Henry) pass out in his camel clutch submission hold? The idea of the whole match coming down to a game John Cena against say, Rusev and Seth Rollins and Rusev slapping on the Accolade for the win is entirely possible. John Cena kicking out after a Curbstomp is entirely possible. But Cena not escaping Rusev's grip is also possible, too. Rusev and Lana are two of the best-protected characters in WWE at-present. The duo getting John Cena (and his team) fired from WWE would up the ante on the heat on them by a significant margin, and also move the tandem away from one-note jingoistic heat into something more powerful that can elevate Rusev up the card. Frankly, Rusev doesn't have too many babyfaces left to beat in WWE. The Bulgarian Brute beating Cena? Well, given that Cena is also likely in need of Wrestlemania opponents, this is something that if it doesn't happen, may actually be quite surprising.
