5 Star Wrestling - 10 Interesting Observations From Newcastle
9. Will Ospreay Proves He Really Is The Aerial Assassin
The man named as The Tag Rope magazine's Breakout Star Of 2015 certainly proved his credentials for 5 Star wrestling, working a great opening match with 'Iron Man' Joe Coffey. Ospreay was at his death-defying best, winning a (perhaps unfamiliar) crowd over with his unique brand of high-flying action. The match was short, but certainly did its job. A clear face/heel dynamic was established by Coffey's opening promo, in which he mercilessly ran down the people of the North East, and the pair worked a nice bout with a fantastic finish. Ospreay's shooting star press attempt hit nothing but knees, and Coffey took full advantage with a brutal lariat for the three count.
