5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Jun 9)

2. QT Marshall Vs. Zack Clayton

QT Marshall is still getting played. His Dark match was preceded by a segment that saw him hand Dustin and Brandi Rhodes a couple of new Natural Nightmares t-shirts he claimed had been designed by Allie. Of course, Marshall was front and centre on the design, literally dwarfing the other two, and the garments were way too big for QT's aggrieved allies.

The match that followed as no good, largely on account of the tired outside influence spots. Allie ducking another Butcher and the Blade question on commentary was good stuff. Things went downhill when he headed to ringside, however, with her, Brandi, and Dustin pulling multiple distractions, and the former 'Bunny' grabbing Zack Clayton's boot for the defeat. Not great, and the action in the ring wasn't strong enough to compensate either.

At least Clayton looked decent. He might be one to keep an eye on, as AEW may seek to elevate him a la Alan Angels.
