5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (May 12)

Ups...

5. Flashes Of Fun

Private Party have fallen out of the AEW spotlight in 2020, going from a pushed commodity in the tag division to a couple of guys lucky to make tape - even before the global health crisis kicked in. Perhaps there's an acceptance that Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy still have rough edges to eliminate before climbing above the midcard. Either way, it was nice seeing them running through some flashy offense on Dark.

Lee Johnson has proven himself one of AEW's most capable jobbers in recent weeks. He and Musa were fine here, looking solid in their brief control spell, though the bout was focused primarily on Private Party's highlight reel moments.

A Quen Shooting Star Press put Johnson away, closing a bout highlight by dives and tandem attacks.
