5 Ups & 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 2)

3. The Most Annoying Guy In The Room

Enzo Amore

Say it quietly, but Enzo Amore as Cruiserweight Champion is working.

Yes, he's a shoddy wrestler, but his microphone skills have never been in doubt. His promos are always good, and he's one of the most genuinely irritating performers in the company, which is what makes him such a good heel. Enzo does a great job of making you want to see him get his head kicked in, and he was in good form last night, mocking the division for their decision to beat him down (thus surrendering all future title shots) the other week.

It's great that WWE positioned this segment at the end of the show, too. The Kalisto reveal was horrendous, but the placement shows that they're actually trying with the division now. 205 Live is finally getting some shine, and all it took was the addition of one of WWE's goofiest characters.

Having Enzo defeat Neville seemed like a terrible idea at the time, but he's absolutely delivering, and should continue to draw new eyes to the Cruiserweights if the angle continues down its current path.
