Pete Rose's second WrestleMania appearance was almost as funny as the first. What he lacked in wit was made up for in wile - even if his cunning was quickly undone by 'The Big Red Machine' once again.
The San Diego Chicken had been bothering Brawl For All referee Vinny Pazienza earlier in the night, but little care was paid to the mascot until he returned to deck Kane from the darkness. As the advantage was rapidly reversed, Kane ripped the chicken's head off before he could snap it revealing his old nemesis 'Charlie Hustle'.
Rose was brilliant again. He'd proved a natural wrestling heel when Kane too was on the dark side. Here against Corporate tweener Kane, he was even easier to laugh at and loathe.
