In case you missed it, Monday was Raw’s go-home show for Hell in a Cell on Sunday. You’d be forgiven for not realizing it, because aside from the Randy Orton/Drew McIntyre feud, very little was advanced toward an actual PPV match.

In fact, the only other Raw match announced for HIAC on Monday night was Elias versus Jeff Hardy. Nothing else was even teased. The Raw tag titles, Raw Women’s Championship and United States Championship weren’t targeted. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship could be up for grabs, but we just saw the champs dispatch three tag teams in a nontitle fatal four-way match Monday night.

What would have been so hard about plugging another match, or building toward one? It’s a three-hour show! The writers couldn’t find five minutes to book a PPV match and promote it?
