5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Nov 25)

4. Simple But Effective Heeling From Joe

Like I said before, the heels have all the fun. In terms of momentum, Samoa Joe left Finn Balor in the dust last night. After Finn cut Generic Babyface Prop #46, Joe walked to the ring, signed the contract and immediately walked away without saying a word. In the words of Geto Boys, "damn it feels good to be a gangsta." As Balor then made to leave, Joe attacked him from behind, before once again making him pass out to the Coquina Clutch. As Joe walked to back, leaving Finn behind him, unconscious and covered in his own drool, the fans erupted, showed the most passion for Joe since he made his debut at TakeOver Unstoppable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxYVTLQarog I've said it since he turned, but after last night's display, it's once again warranted: This is the Samoa Joe we've been waiting for. This is the unstoppable beast, the submission machine, with no need for talk, just a hunger for gold. As a fan, one almost feels sorry for Finn Balor, as he was left looking utterly weak in comparison to Joe's physicality and charisma. Balor looked like a whining boy, while Joe looked like a dominant force. That's ok though, the anticipation of a revenge attack by Balor is palpable.
