2. The New Day vs. The Lucha Dragons Was Fantastic
The next edition of Smackdown will air on Tuesday instead of the usual Thursday time slot. As mentioned during the intro to this piece, the show will also be a live presentation, with one of the featured bouts being a WWE Tag-Team Title match. The Lucha Dragons will face The New Day for the belts, which is obviously not the first time both tandems have met recently. Indeed, Sin Cara and Kalisto have been very successful against the champions on television as of late. On Smackdown, they added a third win against The New Day to their portfolio, which leads nicely into the title showdown next week. Some fans on social media have been cagey with their thoughts, wondering if it's smart to have The Lucha Dragons continually defeat New Day. The matches themselves are highly entertaining, and there's anticipation that Sin Cara and Kalisto could feasibly defeat their opponents to become new champions. This may be something WWE are willing to book, trying to build excitement for Smackdown's big network move in the new year. The New Day are deserving champions, even when losing they are so much fun to watch.
