5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Dec 3)
2. Tyler Breeze And Neville Show Their Skills
Since being called up from NXT recently, Tyler Breeze has lost some steam. Fans were excited to see what 'Prince Pretty' could do on the main roster, but a feud opposite Dolph Ziggler hasn't really caught fire yet. Similarly, Neville has stalled as of late, and isn't really involved in any rivalries. A backstage segment does hint that he may enter a short feud against The Miz however. In the opening match on Smackdown, Breeze and Neville put on a fine display. It's unfortunate that the match likely won't mean much in the long run, but it's heartening to those currently down in NXT to see their peers positioned against one another on a main show. Ziggler was at ringside providing commentary, meaning his feud with Breeze seems likely to continue. The action during the bout was excellent, and hopefully management were keeping a keen eye on things backstage. Breeze and Neville are great talents to have around, but they need something to really sink their teeth into if they're going to get over fully. It was good to see Summer Rae get involved in the finish here, because it gives her a reason for being around ringside, helping her man pick up victories.
