5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Oct 8)
2. Bray Wyatt Doesn't Care About Wins And Losses
Walloping Roman Reigns with a steel chair at the end of the main event tag match, Bray Wyatt cost his team the contest. Laughing afterwards, the cult-like leader should be doing things like this as often as is possible. Non-finishes aren't always the best idea, but Wyatt should be more concerned with hammering home his point than who wins and who loses. That came across loud and clear on Smackdown. Even though he technically lost in a match to Roman Reigns, Wyatt was able to inflict pain on his main rival before Hell In A Cell. On that show, the pair will collide inside the fearsome steel structure, so it makes sense that Bray - as the heel - would be trying to gain the upper hand with every opportunity presented. There are wrestlers who require wins to make them seem more important, Bray Wyatt arguably isn't one of those wrestlers. Yes, he should be presented as someone who is striving to win, but he should also just be nasty and vindictive when he gets the chance. That was the way things panned out on Smackdown, and it ended the show brilliantly.
