5. The Kevin Owens Show

Throughout the night, NXT fans were given the absolute treat of Kevin Owens on commentary, replacing an absent Wade Barrett. Unsurprisingly, Owens was in his absolute element here, charmingly quipping and adding his own valuable insight to every contest and situation he saw play out in front of him during his return home.

Though we knew KO was set to fill in this week, we weren't prepared for an impromptu episode of the Kevin Owens Show. Owens guest on this fine evening? None other than the most likeable underdog NXT has to offer at this time - North American Champion Leon Ruff.

Ruff came across as a sincere and deeply likeable face here. However, Owens found himself regularly having to remind the new Champion that he mustn't get lost in his humbleness as it could be seen as a weakness to his challengers. Owens then poked fun at the stale trope that is an interruption whenever a star's name is mentioned and, sure enough, once Ruff boasted about his victories over Johnny Gargano, the former NXT Champion hit the ring. Owens would then proceed to take hilarious jabs at a few other annoying regular WWE occurrences.

Before long, Gargano, Ruff and Damien Priest were all in the ring with KO, and NXT General Manager William Regal finally made the match seen coming from a mile off; In two weeks, at War Games, the three will battle over Ruff's Championship.
