5 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Money In The Bank 2015

Downs...

7. Ready For Primetime?

Considering how often fans call for WWE to push someone different, it€™s odd to turn around and criticize the company for tapping new champions. But when they take the WWE Tag Team Championships off a still-ascending New Day for longtime toiling duo the Prime Time Players, you have to question it. One development that would justify this move would be to see the New Day slide further away from their message of positivity. We saw a hint of it before the tag title match when Xavier Woods nearly told off the audience before Big E clapped him back to his senses. Woods also noted that Kofi Kingston was being robbed of world title opportunities after failing to win numerous MITB matches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AooGJ84yYw8 Despite that possibility and the feel-good moment of Darren Young and Titus O€™Neil finally capturing gold, it just felt rushed taking the titles off New Day like this, both in terms of a short build to the match and a short match itself. It just didn€™t feel right, but congrats to PTP nonetheless.
