2. The Boss Owns Charlotte

Give some credit to the women involved in the WWE Women’s Championship match. All three did their part to throw attention back onto the women’s division and remind fans why it’s worth your time.

Charlotte did an admirable job casting Sasha Banks as “just all hype” by referencing the crowd chants and that they don’t pay the bills. Sasha, to her credit, wasted little time in dropping Charlotte by saying that her style “is a knockoff of her daddy’s 80s game.” That one has to hurt the woman who still rules, but who clearly rode some coattails to get to the tope.

Banks then took it to Charlotte and Dana Brooke, which helped to reinforce that the Boss is coming for the Women’s Championship. It might not be at Battleground, but Sasha clearly staked out her claim for the title. Monday’s segment helped build that up a little.
