Let’s give the announcers credit when credit is due: in this case, during the Enzo Amore & Big Cass versus Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson match.

The announcers noted that Gallows & Anderson dominated the tag team scene in Japan before coming to WWE, but then added that the duo hasn’t been successful in WWE yet and the two men acknowledge it and are working to remedy that. It wasn’t an earth-shattering revelation, but hearing the announcers talk about it prominently during their match – which they won – helped drive home the message about them.

We can all lament how the Club was handled initially – including a horrid “comedy” feud with New Day – but repeating that the duo is getting serious about kicking a** and winning – and following up on that – makes for some nice consistency and helps rebuild the team.
