5 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Hell In A Cell 2016

3. The Feud Must Continue!

Whose idea was it to have Cesaro & Sheamus win by DQ to prolong their Odd Couple routine as they challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships? Uggh.

The at-odds challengers managed to function well enough against champs New Day, but ultimately, a trombone and Kofi Kingston’s interference was enough to render a PPV title match moot. The match itself wasn’t anything better than what we got on Raw, but unlike Monday night, the PPV bout didn’t have a real conclusion. Lame.

Of course, this is being done because New Day is about six weeks away from breaking Demolition’s record tag title reign. And probably because Vince McMahon thinks the bickering between Cesaro and Sheamus is hilarious. (Spoiler alert: It isn’t.)
