5 WWE Matches We Need To See Before WrestleMania 33

1. Kevin Owens Vs. Chris Jericho

As great as it is seeing Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens play best friends, given that Jericho is rumoured to be leaving WWE again in 2017, their alliance has to end. The best way to actually have it end with a bang is for Jericho to put Universal Champion Owens over before he leaves the company.

Sadly, that means Jericho will have to turn babyface. His heel run this year has been fantastic - one of the best of his career - but given that Owens is around full time and has the potential to be a top heel for years and years, Jericho's the one who ought to turn. Plus, there's the fact that Jericho can turn a crowd for or against him very easily.

A match between the two would be a great fit for February - a little teaser before WrestleMania. Despite the fact that major titles rarely change hands on the road to WrestleMania, Jericho is good enough to make the fans believe he poses a real threat to the Universal Title. Ultimately, Owens will win, giving him - and the company - momentum heading into the show of shows.
