WWE are sitting on a gold mine with Kurt Angle.

No, the suspended Raw General Manager isn't the physical powerhouse he once was, and he did look shattered following bouts at TLC 2017 and 'Mania 34, but he could have good-to-great matches against everyone from Triple H to Brock Lesnar if protected by short-cut stipulations (like Street Fights) or if said matches were kept short enough.

Stephanie McMahon's decision to move Kurt aside in favour of 'Constable' Baron Corbin as Raw's onscreen authority figure only happened to give the legend some time off, but it was also a good move to shake things up on Monday nights; Angle has grown stale in the GM role, and he needs some time away so fans have the chance to miss him again.

This leaves Kurt with quite the dilemma, and he's not alone. Others on WWE's books have some important decisions to make too. Are they happy stagnating in a midcard that will only get more busy when inevitable NXT call ups happen early next year? Or, do they want to reinvent themselves and once again become productive cogs in a machine that's proven capable of swallowing their potential?

Then, there are some who might seek pastures new.

Well, pastures old, anyway...
