44. Shotzi Cuts A Promo

Shotzi teamed with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bianca Belair to defeat Asuka, IYO Sky, Bayley and Kairi Sane at Survivor Series WarGames 2023. You’d think this was a career highlight. Then you remember her part in the go-home promo on SmackDown.

Shotzi is legitimately unhinged, or at least she was, before WWE got her to tone it down. For a few months down in NXT, she carried her form on the indies into Full Sail by basically trying to headbutt the outside of the ring off a dive like the mats owed her money.

She could not act unhinged to save her life.

“Damage Control…” she said, attempting to convey madness. “They humiliated me when they held me down and cut my hair. They thought they could break me,” she continued, sniggering. “But what they really did was change me, yeah!”

She should have changed back to who she was before cutting this “What’s that love? WWE? No, I’m just watching good old-fashioned anal pornography” promo.

The recently released Shotzi continued:

“They made me stronger. Unpredictable. And unbreakable. And I can’t wait…I can’t wait to unleash my frenzy of madness on them, hahahahaha!”

With this last, high-pitched line, she twirled around and jogged on the spot to accompany the maniacal laughter.

Shotzi, back in the old EVOLVE, once hit herself in the face when diving onto a pile of chairs. It could not have been more painful than this.
