Who could have imagined at the start of the year that we'd see Kurt Angle lock Kane in the Angle Lock, Asuka receive one of the loudest pops of the night, or AJ Styles and Finn Bálor 'Too Sweet' one another in the middle of the ring on WWE pay-per-view? We don't know how this happened, but we love it.

For a 'B' level show bridging the gap to Survivor Series, TLC 2017 was a success. The opener, sub-main and headliner were all hot, and the final two matches on the show are worth seeing alone. Besides, who doesn't want to see Kurt Angle hit an Olympic Slam on Cesaro through a table, or be Powerslammed through one himself by Braun Strowman?

On the subject of Angle, his own 'Road To WrestleMania' starts now. On a card destroyed by illness (taking Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt off the show), WWE shifted some pieces around and created the potential for 'Mania season to be the freshest in years...
