6 Reasons Bray Wyatt Must Win At WWE Extreme Rules 2017

The Fatal 5-Way represents the best chance yet to re-establish The Eater of Worlds.

This Sunday at WWE Extreme Rules, five of RAW's top wrestlers will do battle to decide a new number one contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship. A championship match at Great Balls of Fire (eurgh) is on the line, although the prize may be more of a curse than a blessing - Brock Lesnar is the Beast Incarnate, after all.

Finn Bálor, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt will face off in the match, and a legitimate argument can be made in favour of any man coming out on top. Bálor was the inaugural champion who never lost his title; Joe has never had a shot at Lesnar; Rollins and Reigns are undoubtedly two of RAW's top stars (if not the top two).

On the face of things, Bray Wyatt is the odd man out. The Eater of Worlds has seen 2017 morph from a dream into a nightmare, and Wyatt is once again spinning his wheels. Wyatt is the least likely winner, but the truth is he is the best option.

Bray Wyatt may not be the favourite to win the Fatal 5-Way, but don't sleep on The New Face of Fear - a return to the main event may well be on the horizon.
