6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (6 Sept - Results & Review)

Sikoa will get his WWE Title rematch on next week's TV, but Nick Aldis had a surprise waiting for him. He'll be locked inside a steel cage with Cody. Obviously, this is being done to keep The Bloodline at arm's length and make sure the match is fair and square. Then, Solo will have no excuses when he loses again.

Some fans on X and Reddit already think Roman will pop back up to ruin Solo's chances, but that seems a bit unnecessary. Rhodes can handle business on his own, and there's always DIY and The Street Profits (or Kevin Owens and Randy Orton) to give him backup if Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa do poke their noses in.

WWE isn't short on options for ringside distractions, put it that way.

Wrestling fans have two excellent cage matches to look forward to over the next seven days. Hangman Page vs. Swerve Strickland should be ultra-violent at AEW's All Out pay-per-view, then Cody and Solo will do their thing on SmackDown.

Yes please to all of it. Cages rule.
