6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT UK (18 March)
1. Staring At The Starz
There's a reason Joseph Conners has never been as major a player in NXT UK as he could have been; it's because he spends his time chasing the likes of Jack Starz. That's going to get him nowhere.
Alongside Jinny, the former 'Righteous Killer' was livid at their loss to Starz and Piper Niven last Thursday, albeit through 'nefarious means'. What Conners means is that he was planted into the mat by a Piper Driver, with the rules technically stipulating that, because it's a mixed tag team match under the WWE banner, only the men can fight the men and only the women can fight the women. Has there seriously ever been a lamer excuse for losing a bout?
The former WCPW Champion is now demanding a singles bout with NXT UK's perennial jobber. Good for him. He'll get nothing out of it, but good for him anyway. Christ, Jinny could be doing a whole lot more instead of being involved in story arcs with Jack bloody Starz.
